Preventing Targeted Violence Intern
Max Preiser serves as a Preventing Targeted Violence intern at the McCain Institute at Arizona State University. He is a junior at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Arabic. He hopes to combine his interests in violence prevention and sociocultural approaches to diplomacy to further progress on human rights issues.
At Georgetown, Max serves as Policy Chair of the Student Advocacy Office, a Project Manager at the Social Innovation and Public Service Fund, and an Editorial Assistant at the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. He previously interned at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, a US-Japan think tank focused on academic exchange and bilateral cooperation.
In his free time, Max enjoys reading, hiking, and visiting restaurants and museums around DC.
