Noah Hersh

Preventing Targeted Violence

Noah Hersh is a member of the Preventing Targeted Violence team a junior fellow. He is a senior at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where he is pursuing a double major in political science and French. At Hood College, Noah is a member of the Honors College Advisory Committee, Academic Judicial Council, as well as the college’s chapters of the Political Science and French Honor Societies. Having been invited to be a Tischer Scholar, he is currently conducting research on the relationship between France and its former West African colonies in the post-Cold War era.

While born in San Diego, Noah has spent significant time abroad, living in Uganda and Ethiopia for five years, and has recently returned from studying in Toulouse, France for six months. He currently resides in McLean, Virginia. In his free time, he enjoys watching baseball and is an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants.
