Human Rights & Freedom
Ruby Coleman is the Junior Fellow for the Human Rights & Freedom Program at the McCain Institute at Arizona State University.
Ruby is a rising senior at American University studying Political Science while simultaneously pursuing a master’s degree in Political Communication.
Prior to joining the McCain Institute, Ruby held positions at various government and non-profit organizations, including the U.S. Senate, HIAS, and RepresentWomen. She has also worked on multiple Connecticut state-level campaigns. Ruby values service work and recently earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award for volunteering over 280 hours in the last calendar year. She is originally from Westport, Connecticut.
