McCain Global Leader Junior Fellow
Samuel is from Houston but grew up living in various countries, including South Korea, Belgium, and South Africa. He is currently a sophomore double majoring in international relations and finance at Syracuse University, where he is a McNair Scholar and serves as Environmental Mission Leader for Syracuse’s Next Generation Leadership Corps.
Prior to joining the McCain team, Sam worked in local politics as a political campaign intern for Congressman John Mannion and spent time working as a legal intern for Webber Wentzel’s international shipping team in Cape Town, South Africa. Furthermore, Sam spent his last summer in Singapore, producing a report analyzing the effects of the Singaporean government on economic progress. Sam’s international experiences exposed him to the influence of different leadership styles across the world and created a passion for international development. At McCain, he hopes to support the next generation of global leaders and hopefully develop himself as one too.
In his free time, Sam enjoys cooking, reading crime thrillers, and exploring new cities.
