Dave Berry, a 22-year executive with Swift Transportation, led the company’s technology transformation in the early 1990s. He pioneered Swift’s and the industry’s onboard technology and logistics systems and currently leads the Independent Contractor Division. A leader in the trucking industry, Berry has chaired national trucking associations, been instrumental in the EPA’s Clean Air Policy, and NAFTA surface transportation policies. He was the founder and President of Kaibab Transportation until it was sold to Swift in 1990.

  • Founding member of the EPA’s SmartWay program and recognized national leader in sustainability; 2011 recipient of the SmartWay Champion Award for individuals who have made a strong and lasting contribution to the SmartWay program.
