LA County Office of Violence Prevention
Kelly Fischer is Deputy Director of the LA County Office of Violence Prevention, which is housed in the Public Health Department. During her 15 years in the County she has dedicated her career to building and supporting community-driven approaches to public safety and working collaboratively to advance needed systems change. Kelly led a team of staff to design and implement the Trauma Prevention Initiative (TPI), a place-based community violence prevention and intervention program adapted to the unique needs of communities. She was also instrumental in helping to develop the strategic plan and operational infrastructure for the OVP.
