The McCain Institute maintains a working partnership with the AMBER Alert Training and Technical Assistance Program to educate communities on human trafficking through dynamic conferences, which include expert speakers, resource tables and multidisciplinary breakout sessions. The partnership kicked off at conference aimed at educating tribal communities in Arizona on human trafficking on July 19, 2016. Since then, the Amber Alert Program and the McCain Institute have hosted a conference in Tucson, Arizona, focused on unaccompanied minors and their experience with human trafficking, and a child protection symposium in Bismarck, North Dakota.
