McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University joined forces with the National Network for Youth to create a professional development certificate program on human trafficking for runaway and homeless youth providers. In March 2019, the National Summit on Youth Homelessness will offer a one-day, hands-on training session to help providers build their capacity to recognize and assist victims of trafficking.
In preparation for this training, the McCain Institute and NN4Y assembled a Runaway and Homeless Youth Human Trafficking Experts Advisory Group, comprised of members from across the nation representing urban, suburban, and rural communities. These leading experts, academics, and practitioners will review and provide feedback on the new curricula. Together, their valuable insights and expertise will help mobilize our communities to serve vulnerable youth and combat human trafficking and exploitation.
