Ashleigh Bowers is the education programs coordinator at the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University. In this role, Bowers works with the leadership and education team to implement the Policy Design Studio, Next Generation Leaders, and Next Generation Professionals programs. Bowers also supports the senior director, Ambassador Michael C. Polt.

Bowers is an alumna of the McCain Institute’s Policy Design Studio where she focused on the diplomatic and military relationship between the United States and Germany. Previously, Bowers worked as the government affairs intern for the Arizona Board of Regents and the research intern for the Dean of Faculty at the Eisenhower School of National Security within the National Defense University.

Bowers is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Global Security at Arizona State University, and is a graduate of ASU where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with certificates in International Studies and Political Entrepreneurship. Originally from Phoenix, she currently resides in Washington, DC.
