Katrina McDermott is the International Rule of Law & Security (IRLS) program intern for the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University. Under the guidance of the IRLS team, Katrina will assist with projects to increase international security and international development and the educational portion of the program.
Katrina is a rising junior at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a bachelor’s degree in international relations with minors in computer science and Asian American studies. She hopes to become involved in technology policy and law.
Katrina was raised in and currently resides in the Greater-Philadelphia area. In her free time, Katrina enjoys reading, exploring local restaurants and engaging with the community through mentorship and political advocacy.
