Laura Chuckray is the communications associate for the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University. In this role, Chuckray works with the Institute’s director of communications to amplify the Institute’s mission through its digital platforms, media relations and printed materials.

Before joining the McCain Institute, Chuckray was on the marketing team of the Newseum, a museum in Washington, dedicated to promoting and defending the First Amendment. Prior to this, she worked at the Halifax International Security Forum, a nonprofit in Washington, which organizes a signature conference each year in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chuckray graduated with a degree in political science from Davidson College in North Carolina.
