Lee Block serves as the International Rule of Law and Security Program Intern. He is a junior at American University, where he is studies global comparative government and national security, while pursuing a minor in Russian language. Block has extensive research experience. During his tenure as a legislative intern in the Connecticut General Assembly, he formulated policy proposals to address the opioid crisis, earning him a citation for exemplary research. He also provided foundational research for a forthcoming book on the institutional structures of genocidal regimes.
