Lindsay Murphy serves as senior coordinator for the Combatting Human Trafficking Program at the McCain Institute. In this role, she primarily manages the Institute’s ground-breaking Student Alliance Against Trafficking.
Prior to joining the McCain Institute, Murphy acted as legislative affairs associate in the Office of Arizona Governor Janice K. Brewer. Primarily working as a liaison between the Governor’s Office and the Arizona Legislature, she also specialized in the policy area of human trafficking and staffed the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking in 2013.
Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Barrett, The Honors College at ASU, where she published her senior honors thesis on sex trafficking in Cambodia, and a master’s degree in business administration with a dual focus on marketing and supply chain management from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
