Lindsay Murphy serves as the senior anti-human trafficking coordinator for the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University. In this role, she manages the Human Trafficking Program’s Student Alliance Against Trafficking.
Prior to joining the McCain Institute, Murphy acted as legislative affairs associate in the Office of Arizona Governor Janice K. Brewer. Primarily working as a liaison between the Governor’s Office and the Arizona Legislature, she also specialized in the policy area of human trafficking and staffed the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking in 2013.
Murphy is pursuing her master’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and supply chain management at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Barrett, The Honors College at ASU, where she published her senior honors thesis on sex trafficking in Cambodia.
