Sara Perry serves as the Human Rights and Democracy Intern at the McCain Institute for International Leadership. She is a senior at the University of Maryland where she studies international relations with a minor in French language.

Before joining the McCain Institute, Sara interned for F.I.R.N (Foreign-born Information and Referral Network), a local nonprofit focused on assimilating immigrants and refugees into the Washington Metropolitan area. She also studied abroad in Nice, France at the Université Nice Sophia Antipolis where she continued her French language studies. Currently, Sara resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
