Ariane Gottlieb

McCain Institute Junior Fellow

Ariane Gottlieb is the McCain Institute’s Junior Fellow for Global Democracy. She is completing an MA in Global Governance, Politics, and Security at American University’s School of International Service. Prior to this, she worked for four years at the National Endowment for Democracy’s International Forum for Democratic Studies and Center for International Media Assistance. Among other organizations, she has completed internships at the office of former Congresswoman Nita Lowey and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2020 with a  major in international relations and history.
