Muriel Fayemi is a graduate student in international affairs at The George Washington University. With a bachelor's degree in political science, she has conducted research on digital authoritarianism and disinformation campaigns targeting democratic institutions, presenting the former at the Midwest Political Science Conference. She plans to work in policy advocacy, combining her interests in Europe and democratic resilience. A native of the D.C. area, Muriel enjoys scenic walks and baking bread.
