Nikita Makarenko is a prominent Uzbek journalist, media expert, and public figure who is known for his significant contributions to public service in Uzbekistan. He runs one of the most popular and influential Telegram channels in Uzbekistan and has worked for various TV and media outlets. Nikita is an alumnus of the Draper Hills Fellows Program at Stanford University and has been a visiting lecturer at Oberlin College. He has been recognized for his achievements and has received several national awards for promoting the rule of law, friendship among different ethnicities, and tourism development in Uzbekistan. Nikita is a member of the Public Council at the National Mass Media Fund (Uzbekistan) and is the founder of Aral Dream, an NGO aimed at bringing attention to the environmental catastrophe of the Aral Sea.
