Victoria Welborn

Victoria Welborn is a Senior Manager at the Digital Impact Alliance at the United Nations Foundation where she advocates for policies that advance digital development within governments. Victoria spends most of her days trying to find creative ways to help civic activists and government officials leverage technology and policy solutions to create more transparent and trustworthy governments. Prior to this role, Victoria was a Program Director at the National Democratic Institute where she evaluated how parliaments could utilize good governance policies to counter authoritarian influence operations. Victoria has also worked in a US Congressional leadership office as Creative Director creating digital communications strategies for House lawmakers. She has also worked as a digital media producer at a political advertising firm, as well as Director of Operations in the House of Representatives. Victoria received a BA in Psychology at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and is currently pursuing a MPA from Syracuse University.
