Adam Laidouci 

UK Home Office

Adam Laidouci is the Team Leader for Global Multilateral Affairs in the UK Home Office, overseeing engagement with and policy development for G7, UN, G20 and Five-Country Ministerial multilateral affairs. He joined the International Affairs Directorate in the Home Office in 2023 after serving in a variety of positions across Government and Law-Enforcement, including Strategic Adviser (International Relations and Government Affairs) to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner at New Scotland Yard, a posting with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office at the UK Mission to the EU in Brussels during the UK-EU negotiations post EU Exit, and as Head of Counter-Drones Policy within the Homeland Security Unit of the Home Office – developing and implementing the first UK Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Strategy.

Adam began his Civil Service career in Downing Street as a Communication Officer within the Prime Minister’s Office (2011) before transferring to the Home Office to become Adviser to the Home Secretary on Parliamentary Affairs.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics - with a major in International Relations - from the Open University and is a recent Graduate from both the Senior Leadership Programme of the UK College of Policing, and a national security practitioner from the UK College for National Security. He has great pride in public service and a passion for the homeland security mission. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, working towards his Private Pilot’s Licence and volunteering within his local community.
