Manager of Media Relations
Thuy Lan Nguyen is the Manager of Media Relations at the McCain Institute at Arizona State University.
Thuy Lan is an effective communicator and comes from a broadcast media background, having worked previously as assistant news director at an NBC affiliate in Knoxville, Tennessee, helping lead a team of storytellers to deliver critical information during breaking news situations and uncover stories from underserved communities. She also worked as an on-air reporter for CBS and ABC stations in Bakersfield, California, Buffalo, New York and Tampa, Florida.
She is originally from Wisconsin. Thuy Lan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University.
