Maya Manchester is a Sophomore at American University pursuing a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in French. Manchester is the founder of Period101, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to fighting period poverty. Passionate about leadership, women’s rights, and international development, Manchester was a Vital Voices fellow in Washington, DC and has worked with The Centre for Rights Education and Awareness in Nairobi, Kenya
