Alina Burkholder currently serves as the Director of Programs & Strategic Partnerships at JoinPolitics, an incubator for political talent in Germany. She leads the organization’s strategic program portfolio, coaching candidates and elected officials and supporting civil society leaders driving issue advocacy and political innovation. Previously, she created and led the New Bridge Program at Atlantik-Brücke, expanding access to foreign policy spaces for more than 100 young professionals from underrepresented communities in Germany and the United States. She also managed Germany's largest-ever public diplomacy campaign at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., coordinating over 2,000 programs and events across all 50 states. Throughout her career, she has been committed to strengthening democracy by empowering people to make their voices heard and driving collaboration across borders, disciplines, and party lines.
