Senator McCain once memorably said that he fell in love with his country while being held prisoner in another. First as a Navy Airman and then as a lawmaker, the Senator cherished the privilege to serve a cause greater than himself. He promoted programs and lived the ideals that made public service more accessible to Americans of all backgrounds, abilities and persuasions. When establishing the McCain Institute, Senator McCain hoped to help foster the next generation of leaders, both at home and around the globe. This is a legacy that we are proud to continue serving. Learn more about Senator McCain’s dedication to the virtues of public service.
