Angeline Makore

Angeline Makore is a passionate Youth activist from Zimbabwe with expertise in ending violence against women and girls, sexual and reproductive health and rights, female empowerment, and mental health advocacy. Angeline is an award-winning social entrepreneur, having won the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award for her work with the Mwedzi Social Enterprise. Additionally, Angeline is the Founder and Coordinator of Spark R.E.A.D, a youth-led non-profit organization. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Psychology, is a Vital Voices VVLead Fellow Alumna, and is a Women Deliver Young Leader. She believes in harnessing the potential for young people to create sustainable, healthy, peaceful, and economically stable communities. In addition, she is a European Parliament Sakharov Fellow. She is a past participant in the GenH Challenge by Johnson & Johnson as a peer-to-peer judge.
