Fabiola Zambrana Pardo

Bolivia

Representative of the Regulatory Institute for Central and South America

My name is Fabiola Zambrana Pardo. I’m a Bolivian and I hold degrees in Science and Public Administration, as well as a license to practice law. I have been working as a public servant for 9 years, I have experience in National, departmental and local government. I have experience as a university professor and lecturer in international and national forums. I was able to complete academic and political exchanges with heads of political parties, mayors, high public authorities and representatives from Latin America and Europe. In the professional field, I have been pushing for legal instruments that may improve governance and democracy in my country. My goal is to start a cultural change within public organizations, putting into place strategic practices and management tools for democratic governance, through a Laboratory of Government, Administration and Public Policies, which may contribute to the democratization and professionalization in the public administration, and the development of inclusive and effective public policies to improve democracy in Bolivia. I am aware that creating cultural change in the public sector is very ambitious, but what would life be without challenges? Through my path, I had to shatter glass ceilings with significant effort, discipline, and dedication to service.
