Tamara Bajcic is International News Media Association (INMA) Award winning leader in the category of 30 under 30 young news media professionals from around the world. Tamara leverages her background in data protection (Faculty of Law and University of Belgrade Faculty of Security Studies), media, and public diplomacy to drive change within the news media industry. She is media, information, and disinformation space analyst with 7+ years of professional experience gained starting as a journalist and later deputy editor in chief and innovative media project coordinator in regional media production and then proceeding as an associate in an international consulting firm that provides media law and personal data/privacy protection services to clients based in a broad range of jurisdictions across the European Union, USA, China, and former USSR area. The quenching of professional thirst in the field of Information and Media continued in the position of the CEO of Public Opinion Research and Publishing Center Demostat, where has eagerly taken on high-profile projects, such as coordinating the NATO Public Diplomacy Programmes and spearheading a number of projects in the field of public opinion analysis and defense against disinformation. This experience is further enriched by her participation in the U.S. Department of State’s professional exchange program International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), where she deepened her understanding of global media dynamics and strategic communication. Currently, she has been driving initiatives that enhance transparency, media literacy, and public trust in media and information space of the Western Balkans region - a commitment to truth and informed public discourse that is a hallmark of her professional journey. She speaks English and Spanish language, and uses German and Russian language.
