Foreign Policy Advisor to MP, Ukrainian Parliament
Vira Konstantynova is a Ukrainian foreign policy and international security expert, known for her strategic advocacy for Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration and her steadfast efforts to strengthen the country's resilience in various domains. With more than a decade of experience spanning diplomacy, policy advising, and geopolitical analysis, she continues to undertake efforts in shaping Ukraine’s foreign policy narrative and defense posture during wartime. Her career spans several positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. From 2019 to 2021, Ms Konstantynova served as Foreign Policy Advisor to the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament, supporting high-level international diplomacy and inter-parliamentary engagement. She continues to advise policymakers on energy security and foreign affairs, currently serving as a Foreign Policy Advisor to a Member of Parliament, the Committee on Energy, Housing and Communal Services. Ms Konstantynova is the founder and CEO of the Center for Geopolitical Studies 'Konstanta R&D Group', which delivers in-depth, research-driven analysis for academic and professional communities, offering nuanced insights into the complexities of global geopolitical events. Ms Konstantynova delivered guest lectures, sharing her expertise in diplomacy and international security with esteemed institutions including the European Academy of Diplomacy, Wellesley College, the Madeleine Korbel Albright Institute for Global Affairs, the U.S. Foreign Service Institute, the Baltic Defence College, among others. Graduated from Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University, Vira obtained an MA in International Relations. She also completed the AYD 'International Security' Post-graduate Program, implemented by the European Academy of Diplomacy. In recognition of her contributions to inter-parliamentary diplomacy and international cooperation, Ms Konstantynova was honored with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Award (2020).
