Sen. Amy Klobuchar

United States Senator, Minnesota

Senator Amy Klobuchar has earned a reputation as an effective, results-driven legislator who works across the aisle to get things done. In the 117th Congress, she was the Senator with the most bipartisan bills and was ranked as one of the “most effective” senators in Congress.

She has long championed bipartisan efforts to defend democracy at home and abroad, including by standing with Ukraine and strengthening the NATO alliance.

Senator Klobuchar has traveled to Ukraine two times since early 2022, where she met with President Zelensky and advocated for continued military and humanitarian support for Ukraine as it stands up to Russia.

Recently Klobuchar led her colleagues in calling for continued U.S. support for investigating Russia’s abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children. Klobuchar also serves as the third ranking Democrat in Senate leadership and the lead Democrat on the Agriculture Committee. She also serves on the Commerce, Judiciary, and Rules Committees.
