Oleksandra Ustinova

Oleksandra Ustinova is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, a minority leader, and chairwoman of the Parliamentary Temporary Special Commission on Arms Control. She also serves as deputy head of the U.S.-Ukraine Parliamentary Caucus and is a member of the Law Enforcement Committee. An experienced policymaker and former anti-corruption leader, she has a strong track record in institutional reform, international advocacy, and defense policy.

She is recognized for her leadership in ensuring transparency and accountability of international military assistance during wartime, as well as for advancing Ukraine’s anti-corruption architecture, including the establishment of key national institutions such as the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), and the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC).

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, Oleksandra has become one of Ukraine’s leading advocates for international military assistance and security cooperation. She works closely with the U.S. Congress, the Department of Defense, and international partners to strengthen support for Ukraine while overseeing accountability in the use of international military aid. She is also actively engaged in international security dialogue through the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and other leading transatlantic policy institutions.

A Stanford University alumna with a master's degree in political science from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ustinova is a frequent contributor to international media, including CNN, CBC, Fox News, DW News, Politico, and the Washington Post.
