The Honorable Susan M. Gordon is one of the nation’s most respected intelligence professionals and a trusted voice on strategy, innovation, and leadership. Confirmed as the Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence in 2017, she became the Nation’s highest-ranking career intelligence officer. In over three decades of service including both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), Gordon earned a reputation as a visionary, inclusive leader; delivering innovative solutions on a broad spectrum of complex issues, including cyber security, emerging and disruptive technologies, artificial intelligence, information operations, and space. Gordon is currently a consultant on technology and global risk. Among other endeavors, she is Senior Fellow at Harvard University; an independent director at CACI, International, Blacksky, Security Scorecard; a Trustee at the MITRE Corporation; an advisor to Microsoft and other technology companies; and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Defense Innovation Board.
