Aditi Cottle is an Australian intelligence professional with over 12 years experience across a broad range of roles. Aditi started as a legal officer prior to undertaking a graduate training program, followed by several investigative and analytical roles. Throughout her career, she has seen the value in ongoing collaboration and the importance of breaking down barriers to achieve success within the current security environment. Aditi currently leads a team working in the security assessment space and determining how best to use available resources to inform whole-of-government border security initiatives. Aditi has a strong personal interest in leadership studies, specifically the impact of leadership in stewarding their organization through periods of change and in navigating issues of continued relevance, resourcing and public trust.

Aditi holds a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of New South Wales, which included time spent studying in Washington DC, and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the University of Victoria while based in Wellington, New Zealand. Aditi academic study and professional experiences have fueled her interest in how Australia fits in and contributes to the broader global community. Aditi looks forward to bringing both her experience and interest to the fellowship and collaborating further on critical counterterrorism questions.
